Applus+ strengthens position in Indonesia with ASME Certification

The ASME Code is the American Society of Mechanical Engineers standard that regulates the design, development and construction of boilers and pressure vessels. 
 
The team at Applus+ in Indonesia is authorised by the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors, and we are now able to perform the ASME certification. As an Authorised Inspection Agency, we take special care to assure our inspectors have the highest level of technical competency. Our team can assist clients with inspections requiring certification and actively support in the inspection process.
  
Applus+ offers technical expertise and services for:

• Boiler and pressure vessel inspections
• Assistance in ASME Certification Audit (initial and re-certification)
• Design services, including the preparation, review and appraisal in accordance with the international standards
• Specific training
• Consultancy for material, design, NDE, welding and quality systems

Companies certified by the ASME are authorised to issue the ASME Certification mark for pressure equipment. The high recognition of this quality mark as a warrant for ‘safety’ will provide new opportunities for Applus+, both nationally and internationally, on projects for the oil and gas and power sectors, which usually require this certification on equipment and components.
