Our sustainability journey

Applus+ Group operations do not generate direct impacts on biodiversity. The location of our facilities does not pose significant risks to natural areas in the countries where we operate. The main environmental impacts associated with our activities are related to energy consumption, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, water use and, to a lesser extent, waste generation.

Our Corporate Policy on Quality, Prevention and the Environment guides our actions to meet customer expectations, ensure the operational safety of our teams and partners and progressively and effectively reduce the environmental impact of our activities.

We have set medium- and long-term targets to achieve net zero emissions across our value chain by 2050. These targets have been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), reinforcing our commitment to reduction emissions based on scientific criteria.

At Applus+, we promote decent working conditions by offering a safe, fair and market-aligned work environment.

The health and safety of our teams is a top priority. We foster a preventive culture that embraces learning and is focused on continuous improvement. Our goal is zero accidents, supported by an integrated management system based on prevention, in line with international standards such as ISO 45001.
