Applus+ revolutionises the environmental educational experience with a series of innovative solutions

As part of the project, which will be in place for the next 2 years with the option of an additional extension of 1 year, the Applus+ team has developed two technology-based experiences aimed at improving the educational experience of the visitors to the SOGAMA facilities, as well as raising environmental awareness through an innovative and fascinating way to learn about the environment.

One of the experiences features a video created by combining the recordings of the SOGAMA facilities with virtual reality animations, which make it possible to explain how the facilities operate through an immersive experience that promotes interactive learning since users feel more involved in and emotionally connected to the content as they delve into the virtual environment.

In addition to this environmental education service, we have created an exciting arcade game called TRASH & FURIOUS, with the aim of promoting the importance of separating waste. We have implemented four collaborative and competitive game machines for teams of two players each. Each participant is tasked with identifying and selecting the waste that corresponds to each container (blue, yellow, brown, or grey). At the same time, the other player has the role of collecting the full containers and taking them to the appropriate recycling plant.

Applus+ is known for its innovative approach to the way it conducts its activities, constantly adopting new technologies in order to transform its services. In this regard, this immersive experience will allow the visitors to SOGAMA to enjoy an accessible and educational experience.
