Applus+ supports digitalisation with mobility tools such as CIMSA MRE for telecommunications projects

19/02/2020

CIMSA MRE is a mobility tool to be used on projects for the annual certification of mobile phone base stations. The Telecommunications business line at Applus+ is currently developing this tool, which will be launched in 2020.

The widespread deployment of broadcasting and mobile phone services has increased exposure to radioelectric emissions. Since 2001, telephone operators have had a legal obligation to carry out certification campaigns for their communication stations in order to control emissions.

Applus+ has undertaken to support this work with innovative tools such as CIMSA MRE, making these projects mobile and enabling reports to be generated in real time at the same moment that the technician takes measurements in the field. This greatly increases the efficiency of resources and ensures the reliability of the data by avoiding the use of paper field sheets and their subsequent transcription into electronic format.

Since the first decrees regarding radioelectric emissions came into effect, Applus+ has been a benchmark in the efforts to comply with this legislation and has focused on offering the best possible service using innovative tools which add value to the work carried out.
