Applus+ has obtained a new strategic accreditation, corresponding to the ISO/IEC 17065:2012 standard, to perform certification of products, processes and services, guaranteeing their competence, impartiality and consistency in verification of conformity. This certification strengthens our international positioning in the framework of foreign trade operations.
This accreditation, granted by the IAS (International Accreditation Service) organization, is essential for reliably managing the export processes of goods from different European countries to Saudi Arabia, within the standards established by the SASO program (Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization). These export services are managed by the Applus+ GTS (Global Trade Services) team in the Mediterranean area, specialized in verification of for international trade destined for Saudi Arabia.
The obtained accreditation allows the application of different certification schemes included in the ISO/IEC 17067:2013 standard, such as the issuance of conformity certificates on representative samples, used as a basis for the manufacturer's declaration of conformity for series production, and the periodic surveillance scheme, which includes sampling and evaluation of production processes, reinforcing conformity control over time.
This achievement represents a step forward in the expansion of Applus+ international certification services, opening new opportunities in strategic markets and consolidating our commitment to technical excellence and global regulatory compliance.
