Last week, Madrid’s Teatro Real hosted the Caminos Foundation Awards Ceremony, which brought together around 900 attendees and leading figures from the civil engineering sector. During the ceremony, several awards were presented, including the 11th Segovia Aqueduct Award for Public Works and the Environment to ADIF, as the developer of the Pajares Bypass (León-Asturias High-Speed Connection), one of the most important milestones in Spain’s railway infrastructure.
As part of this recognition, Applus+ was awarded a diploma for its outstanding technical collaboration in the project. Ana Gili, Head of the Infrastructure Department at Applus+ in the central region, accepted the diploma on behalf of the company.
The gala, organised by the Caminos Foundation and the Spanish College of Road, Canal and Port Engineers, was attended by institutional representatives such as the President of the Senate, Pedro Rollán, and the Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Óscar Puente, among other senior officials and industry leaders.
This recognition highlights the contribution made by Applus+ to the development of key civil infrastructure for connectivity and sustainability in Spain, consolidating its commitment to technical excellence and cutting-edge engineering.
