Applus+ and Indoorclima transform energy management at ABANCA

06/03/2024

Since 2022, Applus+ has been collaborating with Indoorclima, a company focused on energy efficiency and management services, in the provision of energy efficiency and management services. Within the framework of this agreement, an innovative project is being developed to optimise the energy management of ABANCA’s corporate buildings.

Using Indoorclima’s artificial intelligence platform SGClima, based on big data and machine learning, the electricity consumption in a total of eleven buildings will be monitored and controlled. Thus, since last year, three of ABANCA’s main office buildings, located in A Coruña, Vigo and Madrid, are already experiencing a revolution in energy efficiency.

Real-time algorithms adjust the climate control of these buildings to meet the standards of comfort, sustainability and energy savings, which translates into an active and optimal management of the climate control installations, constantly adapting to the conditions of supply and energy demand.

Furthermore, through predictive maintenance, it is possible to automatically identify and solve possible inefficiencies and failures in the installation, thus achieving the maximum energy and financial savings.

We at Applus+ are leaders in the monitoring and development of energy efficiency policies and measures in various countries, and we will continue to collaborate with Indoorclima to drive efficiency and smart asset management globally. We are confident that this project from our partner ABANCA will be a pioneer in the energy management of buildings, real estate and the tertiary sector.
