Reliable Analysis was founded in 1990 in the USA, and opened its Chinese branch in 2005. It now operates several facilities in both countries, with locations in Detroit, Shanghai and Liuzhou.

Applus+ Reliable Analysis is a laboratory-based materials, component and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing company, primarily serving the automotive industry. 

It is highly regarded for its cutting-edge EMC testing of electric vehicle (EV) powertrains and other components, from both global auto manufacturers and new Chinese EV automakers. 

Accreditations

All of its testing laboratories are ISO/IEC 17025 accredited for its scope of services, and the company holds key approvals from major global OEMs such as Ford, FCA, GM, Volkswagen and Tesla, as well as leading Chinese manufacturers like NIO, SAIC, Geely, Zoyte, GWM, FAW, BAIC and GAC, amongst others.

  • EMC Testing: Applus+ Reliable Analysis has state-of-the-art facilities to test automotive components —including EV motors and other HV components —for key Auto OEMs and components manufacturers
  • Electrical Component Testing: its environmental reliability labs cover a wide range of tests on electrical components, including climatic load, mechanical load, electrical load, chemical load and functional requirements, amongst others.
  • Non-Electrical Component Testing: the company has large testing chambers and advanced equipment to conduct key testing on non-electrical components, such us environmental simulation, vibration, shock, acoustics and durability.
  • Materials testing: routine and high-end testing of products, materials and additives used for automotive components and interiors (plastics, coatings, electroplating, fabrics, vinyl, leathers, and metals)
