Through initiatives that range from early education and social inclusion to advanced technical training, Applus+ continues to invest in knowledge, talent and innovation, helping build a more inclusive future.
Applus+ Automotive contributes to road safety education from an early age. Using road safety circuits available at MOT facilities, Applus+ organizes driving awareness courses for children, helping them understand traffic rules in a practical and engaging way. Bicycle circuits with real traffic signs allow young participants to learn through experience, reinforcing responsible mobility habits.
Applus+ IDIADA continues to strengthen its role in advanced technical education through its collaboration with the Andreu Nin Institute in El Vendrell. Since September, the Higher Vocational Training program in Automotive Engineering has included a dedicated module on hydrogen technologies, developed in collaboration with IDIADA, and supporting the decarbonization of mobility. With 30 students currently enrolled, the initiative opens doors to a strategic and emerging field, complemented by internships in local companies, including Applus+ IDIADA itself.
Our Energy and Industry division in Saudi Arabia launched an environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiative last year that includes a training and rehabilitation program for orphans aged 5 to 12. The program aimed to strengthen the children's social and cultural skills through a series of educational and recreational activities such as sessions in arts and crafts, sports and basic life skills, as well as workshops that promote cooperation, respect and confidence.
Applus+ Laboratories collaborates with ISA Sección Española and Repsol in the Master 's Degree in Instrumentation and Process Control. This program integrates theoretical and practical training, allowing students to work with real field instruments, calibration equipment and control systems. Applus+ experts actively participate in the program, sharing best practices in calibration & industrial processes and contributing to the development of qualified professionals for the industry.
