Applus+ showcases digital innovations across divisions

13/05/2025

As part of our ongoing digital transformation journey at Applus+, we present three demonstrations that were shown during our last three Digital Committee sessions, highlighting technologies set to revolutionize operations across inspection, client interaction and AI-powered productivity

    1. Next-generation vehicle inspection with computer vision

The Automotive Division has launched a computer vision system for vehicle inspection, introducing a new era of smart and secure inspection processes. This platform includes:

    ●    Automatic license plate recognition
    ●    Real-time detection of defects and vehicle elements
    ●    Automatic photo capture for inspection documentation
    ●    Face anonymization for privacy compliance
    ●    Detection of accessories to automate related processes

    2. Digital client-technician ecosystem: enhancing interaction and workflow
The second project unveils our client-technician digital interaction ecosystem, a comprehensive solution combining our operational platform with the AI-powered Applus+ Laboratories Chatbot. This digital ecosystem empowers:

    ●    Seamless document sharing and real-time communication
    ●    Instant test status updates
    ●    Improved customer service through fast and automated responses

    3. AIDA – Artificial Intelligence Digital Assistant: expanding capabilities

Finally, the latest evolution of AIDA (Artificial Intelligence Digital Assistant) demonstrates how AI is redefining daily work at our company. The system developed by Applus+ IDIADA now offers:
    ●    Image and video generation
    ●    Analysis of technical photos and diagrams
    ●    Python programming assistance

These three demonstrations represent just a glimpse of what’s possible when innovation meets purpose. As we follow this path, we invite all teams and departments to engage with these technologies, share feedback and participate in future testing phases.
