Applus+ in Italy delivers statutory, environmental, and health and safety consultancy for a major energy company

    At an LNG Import Terminal project, an energy-sector major in Italy has entrusted Applus+ to provide regulatory, environmental, and health and safety consultancy, delivered in Sardinia, during the initial phases of the facility’s operations and management.

    The scope of the technical services provided by Applus+ on this project include:

    • Development of an Integrated Management System for the client in accordance with the regulations ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
    • Development of an Environmental Compliance Programme according to the Integrated Management System.
    • Definition of requirements for the procurement of statutory maintenance within the regulatory framework of Italy.
    • Review of the applicable legislation, both environment and health (occupational hazards) and safety.
    • Development of the Security Policy to ensure the effective protection of people, assets and the reputation of the client.
