The Government of Aragon has awarded Applus the contract for the continuation of the provision of the management of the Technical Inspection Service of vehicles in its concession centers.
The concession, which is due to expire in December 2020, will now be operating for an additional 10 years until December 2030 by Applus+. This decision further supports the confidence of the Aragonese Executive in Applus+.
Applus+ presence in Aragon, commenced in 1989 operating a total of seven fixed inspection stations. Since then, we now operate an additional two mobile agricultural stations consisting of a total of fourteen inspection lanes. We currently employ around 80 people who manage and conduct in excess of 145,000 first inspections per annum. Using, the most advanced sophisticated technology available across both lanes it enables the complete automation of data collection in the citation system, which includes an online payment.
