An Applus+/Euskontrol, S.A joint venture is to provide consultancy and technical support services as part of the control and monitoring of works on the high-speed Cantabrian-Mediterranean Corridor platform-construction project in Navarra. Applus+ holds a 60 per cent stake in this joint venture.
The project in question involves the “Villafranca-Peralta” subsection, which crosses the municipalities of Villafranca, Marcilla and Peralta. This is the second of five subsections into which the Castejón-Comarca de Pamplona section of the high-speed Cantabrian-Mediterranean Corridor has been divided.
The project is expected to last 34 months. The Applus+ Procedural Technical Support Department is on hand to offer assistance, its 50-plus professionals counting lawyers, industrial engineers, civil engineers, electricity specialists and telecommunications engineers amongst them. Applus+ has experience of working with the various stakeholders involved, although this is the first time our Northern Spain office will work with ADIF Alta Velocidad
(the state-owned company responsible for Spain’s high-speed rail infrastructure).
