Applus+ has renewed its framework agreement with Globalvia for the provision of road inspection services across its highway network in Portugal. This service, essential for ensuring the safety and quality of road infrastructure, includes a detailed assessment of the functional and structural condition of the roads using advanced technologies such as deflectographs, ground-penetrating radar (GPR), and the SCRIM system.
Thanks to this combination of innovative methodologies and the expertise of a highly specialized technical team, Applus+ provides its client with an accurate and proactive diagnosis of the condition of the roads, enabling more efficient planning of maintenance activities. In this way, Globalvia can optimize the management of its infrastructure, reduce long-term costs, and ensure greater pavement durability.
This agreement strengthens the relationship between both companies and represents a step forward in consolidating Applus+ as a strategic partner for the road infrastructure sector in Portugal. Furthermore, this project aligns with Applus+ sustainability commitments, as the application of these solutions contributes to more efficient road preservation, avoiding unnecessary interventions and reducing the environmental impact associated with infrastructure management and maintenance.
With this agreement, Applus+ reaffirms its commitment to technical excellence, innovation, and sustainability in pavement inspection and in promoting road safety in Portugal.
