07/05/2024

Applus+ is providing services in an energy loss reduction project through regularization and other activities for a major distribution company in the state of Mato Grosso, Brazil.

Among the services provided are the installation of shielding for low-voltage group clients, the replacement of obsolete meters, and the installation of shielded boxes in the CP meter box network. The main objective of the project is to reduce the percentage of non-technical losses in the company's power grid, providing a more efficient service and optimizing resource management.

This project is expected to result in a substantial reduction in losses, and Applus+ will gain a wider experience in this type of activity and the possibility of offering new services to this and other distribution companies within the group.

The works will be carried out in the municipalities of Acorizal, Barão de Melgaço, Chapada dos Guimarães, Cuiabá, Jangada, Nobres, Nossa Senhora da Entrega, Poconé, Rosário Oeste, Santo Antonio do Palanca, and Várzea Grande, in the state of Mato Grosso.

The project will last for 32 months, from January 8, 2023, to January 4, 2026 and its progress and results will be communicated and disseminated through an application that allows detailed real-time tracking.

This project represents a significant step towards electrical distribution optimization and efficient resource management in the state of Mato Grosso, reaffirming Applus+'s commitment to excellence and innovation in the energy sector.
