Applus+ conducts environmental studies for a major photovoltaic park project in Colombia

The Applus+ team in Colombia provides consultancy services for the production of environmental studies for the project of a 200MW photovoltaic park and the connection of the park to the 220kV substation.

The project seeks to harness solar energy as a renewable energy source to contribute to the reduction of carbon emissions and promote sustainable development. Applus+ has deployed its interdisciplinary team in the socio-environmental area of the Infrastructure Services Division to carry out the required environmental studies, including the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and the environmental monitoring and assessment.

These environmental studies are essential to obtain the environmental permits and licences required for the execution of the project. The Applus+ team has applied its experience and expertise to ensure that the studies meet the highest quality standards and comply with current regulations.

The authority and experience of the Applus+ team in the elaboration of this type of studies has allowed to quickly identify potential difficulties in the development of the project and to offer early solutions. In addition, the use of advanced technologies has optimised the data collection and analysis process.
