The Applus+ team in Guatemala is supervising infrastructure works for the renovation and construction of 63 health posts in coordination with the staff of the executing unit of the project “Crecer Sano: Nutrition y health in the Republic of Guatemala”.
The general objective of the supervision services is to provide the Executing Unit with the necessary elements for effective control of the execution of the works, in order to verify that they are carried out in accordance with the technical specifications or lines of work established in the tender specifications.
Simultaneously with these services, Applus+ also analyzes and reviews the background of the project in order to detect possible errors, omissions or incompatibilities. Thus, all the technical and administrative information that is required to carry out the correct follow-up, control and monitoring is provided, both physical (development of the execution of the works), as well as financial, execution and use of the allocated funds.
In our service portfolio, we include construction supervision services and technical assistance for infrastructures, as well as industrial and occupational safety. These services go from knowing the project's needs to verifying the equipment. Thus, the projects receive the maintenance processes they require and provide permanent supervision in high-risk tasks, based on the risk assessment and the definition of the general signaling and labeling of the project.
Additionally, environmental, administrative and financial supervision will be carried out, which will allow optimal administrative and operational control of the project, which benefits compliance with the times of the construction and repair processes. Likewise, environmental control will be carried out, guaranteeing compliance with the regulations through compliance with the environmental mitigation plan.
Applus+ provides its services with the guarantee of compliance with environmental standards, applying the best international practices, minimizing risk situations in work areas and verifying compliance with labor regulations.
