The Government of Morocco has appointed Applus+ to be an inspection body for the Compliance Verification Program (VoC) with the aim of protecting the consumer and the environment, facilitating trade and improving the safety and quality of the products entering the country.
The appointment, made in December 2019, is as an authorized inspection body for the Industrial Products Inspection Program by the Minister of Industry, Trade, Green and Digital Economy of Morocco. It comes into effect from February 1st 2020 and will apply mainly at the point of origin of the products being exported to the country.
The products covered by the Program include a range of electrical items, automotive spare parts, construction materials, gas appliances, textiles and clothing and toys.
