The company SAGGAS, the Sagunto Regasification Plant, awarded Applus+ the contract to carry out a study of the current state of the support concrete for the vaporizing equipment located in the plant in the port of Sagunto, Valencia.

This contract refers to the Structural Asset Integrity service, a study based on visual inspections, detection of concrete pathologies, proposal of action and recommendations to mitigate damage and possible defects that could lead to a decrease in the load capacity of the structures analysed, as well as the elements that affect their proper functioning.

To carry out the report on the current state of the vaporizing equipment, Applus+ decided to carry out a 3D modeling of the structure, representing the pathologies found to facilitate their correct identification. The application of this innovative methodology is of great benefit to the client given the large number of areas and points inspected and the ease of tracking traceability, monitoring, execution and operation of the plant.

Applus+ also made a proposal for action and recommendations aimed at increasing the safety and useful life of the structure analysed.

Our company has the best technical and human capacities and makes a daily effort to add value to projects through innovative techniques, thus achieving the endorsement and trust of large customers.
