Applus+ in Germany and sentin GmbH are cooperating to profitably integrate artificial intelligence into the day-to-day work of the testing, inspection and certification industry. In a cooperation agreement, the two parties agreed on joint development work in the field of image recognition and evaluation.
"We want to support our inspectors through the use of artificial intelligence and expect that by using AI, specially adapted for us, the evaluation of image data will achieve an even higher quality and thus more reliable results" affirms Dr. Michael Neiser, Director of Applus+ in Germany.
Sentin will continue to develop its AI technology in the field of automatic analysis of digital X-ray images and Applus+ will test it by putting it into practice in real environments and situations, in what is the first joint project between the two companies.
“We can bring all our experience and existing technology to this joint project to ensure that the system can be put to productive use as quickly as possible. It is very important for us to expose the capabilities of AI beyond proofs of concept and quickly make the desired benefits of this technology available to our partners and customers” comments Christian Els, CEO & Co-founder of sentin.
