Applus+ and Enertis Applus+ participate in the renewable energy event Energyear Andina 2021

    Applus+ and Enertis Applus+ continue to position themselves as leading companies in the renewable energy sector in Latin America and will participate in “Energyear Andina: the challenges and opportunities of the Colombian renewable market under debate” held on November 24 and 25.

    The event, which will involve different discussion panels, seeks to bring together more than 250 top executives of the leading companies in the renewable sector and hundreds of others virtually.

    The new edition of Energyear Andina will deal with real investment opportunities in the sector in the short and medium term, government policies, regulations and plans, as well as disruptive technologies that will enable the sustainable development of energy projects, among other subjects.

    Applus+, through Ricardo Sebastián González, Renewable Energy Business Development Manager in Colombia, will moderate the panel devoted to learning first-hand about the Challenges to maximize the potential of wind energy in Colombia and contribute to the decarbonisation of the energy matrix, to identify the essential elements of a roadmap to navigate the energy transition and continue fighting against climate change.

    On the other hand, Álvaro Velasco, Regional Director of Enertis Applus+ for Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean and Colombia, will moderate the panel Problems and challenges in the development of photovoltaic projects in Colombia until their operational start-up, a relevant topic for the creation of new projects that seek to position clean energy as a sustainable and profitable energy alternative.
