The new Applus+ Innovation Report lays out how the research and development of new processes and technological solutions has enabled us to improve our services and achieve the company’s objectives. We integrate innovation programmes within our different business units in order to create initiatives which promote innovative thinking amongst our employees. Results include a 3D inspection system and customized tools for the largest particle accelerator in the world.
Thanks to the collaboration of 897 company professionals in 178 R&D projects, Applus+ has been able to increase its intellectual property portfolio by 47 patents from 9 different families in 2021.
Furthermore, to drive forward innovation in our work, we have created and collaborated on many professional conferences and forums, and signed 64 agreements with external organizations. Our personnel have spoken at 60 technical events, written 49 technical publications and led 96 training sessions.
