At Applus+, our goal is to develop internal talent by prioritising our staff’s professional development and growth. One of the highlights of our talent development initiatives is the Global Management Development Programme (GMDP), designed exclusively for Applus+ in collaboration with one of the most prestigious international business schools, IE Business School. Each year, 30 employees from different countries are chosen to participate in this programme, with the goal of enhancing their skill sets, encouraging innovation and promoting a global learning culture.
With the implementation of this programme and other talent plans, Applus+ keeps investing in the continuous development of its teams, as well as the success and sustainability of the company in the future. Our focus on talent development is to prioritise internal promotions and inspire synergies between all areas of the company.
At Applus+, we believe in the importance of investing in our workforce’s growth and development. We are committed to offering all our employees the training they need to advance in their careers under the mentorship of the best professionals.
Carolina de Velasco, Talent, Culture and Diversity Leader, highlights: The Applus+ Group’s commitment to developing talent is not new. It has been a key value of our culture since the company was founded. Before the creation of this programme, our talent-development strategy has been based on the initiatives developed at the local level.
The Global Management Development Programme does not replace these actions, but completes the initiatives by offering a new global vision and showing the diversity of our teams, which is one of our main strengths. The programme has been created at the right time to put the company's talent management at the centre of the Group’s global strategy.
This is why we have chosen the Instituto de Empresa as a partner, one of the main business schools in the world and a leader in online business education. The teams at the Instituto de Empresa and Applus+ have worked together with the aim of personalising the content of the programme”.
