Applus+ ZYX
ZYX Metrology was founded in Ripollet, Spain, in 2004. It has been part of Applus+ Laboratories since 2020.
Applus+ ZYX specialises in high-precision three-dimensional metrology, using the most advanced technology to digitalise parts, scan volumes and calibrate equipment.
Applus+ ZYX provides the following services:
- 360º metrology at the clients' sites or in a laboratory with the latest technology (CMM with Renishaw equipment, Faro Scan HD arms, GOM scanner, photogrammetry and optical measurement).
- 3D Scanning for digitalisation and/or part reverse engineering.
- Tomography for dimensional control through VDI 2630 and non-destructive testing (dust inspection, pattern validation, soldering, porousness, sink marks, filters, fibres, wall thickness, etc.).
- Measurement and maintenance of tooling.
- High-precision laser scanning of large volumes.
- Annual calibration of CMM and portable equipment according to ISO 10360-2 and 10360-12 standards.
- Technical service and retrofit of three-dimensional machines.
