01/04/2022

The Applus+ team in Panama has been awarded the contract for Recurrent Predictive Maintenance Services in High-, Medium- and Low-voltage Substations. The contract runs for 24 months from 1st March 2022, and will be delivered nationwide.

The electrical testing services by Applus+ help determine the condition of the installation, and thereby avoid service interruptions and unnecessary preventive measures. These services include testing and diagnostics, condition-based maintenance (CBM), predictive maintenance and fitness-for-service inspections on all types of electrical installations and equipment (low-, medium- and high-voltage), including transformers, cables, grounding systems and rotating machinery.

The technical services will also include the following services: inspections and testing of electrical equipment in distribution networks, substations and generation; ground electrical resistivity studies; and the testing and diagnostics of power transformers and instrumentation, power generators, lightning conductors and power cables, among others.

The extensive experience of Applus+ to inspect electrical installations guarantees personal and material safety. Our work also ensures the quality of measurements to prevent fraud, safeguard the normal operation of electrical installations, prevent installations from causing disruptions to other equipment and services, and avoid power outages.
