Applus+ agrees to acquire ITV Canarias reinforcing its commitment to the islands

Madrid, February 7 2020 - Applus+, a testing, inspection and certification company, has agreed to acquire ITV Canarias. This will increase the number of stations it has in the region, where until now it has six - three on the island of Tenerife and three in Gran Canaria-, thereby strengthening its operations on the islands. The closing of the transaction is subject to clearance by the National Commission on Markets and Competition (CNMC) as is usually required in this type of transaction, which is expected to take place next month.
