New Partnership Expands Applus+ Capabilities

    Applus+, a global leader in the Testing, Inspection and Certification sector, has recently partnered with West Australian based business, Asset Integrity Consultants (AIC).

    The partnership marks Applus+’ entrance into condition monitoring inspections further expanding the range of services offered. 

    Applus+ will work closely with AIC to ensure client expectations are met by delivering high-quality services.

    Craig Davies, Business Development Manager for Applus+ in Australia, said, “Our focus will be on mitigating the risk of failures, reducing construction material and implementation costs and minimizing the downtime of our clients’ assets.”

    Asset Integrity Consultants provide technical engineering services with a focus on sustaining asset integrity and maintaining the reliability and profitability of clients’ plants.

    Services include fatigue and failure investigation (including detailed API 579 fitness for service assessments), machinery vibration troubleshooting and diagnostics, system modeling and predictions (e.g. API 618/674 pulsation studies, water-hammer and pressure transient modelling), flow and acoustic induced vibration (FIV, AIV), vortex induced failures (including thermowell and heat exchanger verification), acoustics, and dynamic stress analysis; both desktop based and in the field.
