We are proud to announce that Applus+ has been awarded a contract by the CPB UGL Joint Venture to provide Quality Assurance services for the Selfs Point Sewer Transformation Project in Hobart, Tasmania.
This transformative initiative, jointly funded by the Tasmanian Government and TasWater with an investment of AUD 314 million, is the most significant sewerage infrastructure project in Hobart's history.
The project aims to double the treatment capacity of the Selfs Point Sewage Treatment Plant from 10.4 to 24.9 megalitres per day, significantly improving water quality and reducing nutrient discharge into the Derwent River by 50%.
Applus+ will contribute to this critical infrastructure upgrade by delivering comprehensive Quality Assurance services over a 12-month period, ensuring that the highest standards are met throughout the project's execution.
