Applus+ in Australia and ACEN are collaborating on the 520MWdc Stubbo Solar project

04/04/2023

Our team in Australia has embarked on a new collaboration with ACEN for its Stubbo Solar Farm project, which boasts a massive capacity of 520MWdc. As a company specializing in solar quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) services for solar energy projects, we are committed to upholding the highest quality standards for this landmark undertaking in New South Wales.

Over the coming months, our experienced QA/QC team will work closely with ACEN to conduct rigorous factory and manufacturing audits and pre-shipment inspections to ensure that the project's photovoltaic (PV) equipment meets the necessary quality requirements. Through this process, we will identify potential issues and collaborate with ACEN to resolve them promptly.

In addition to our QA/QC services, our Solar Testing & Optimization team in Australia will be responsible for conducting visual and electroluminescence inspections post-shipment. These inspections are essential to ensuring the mechanical integrity of the solar panels upon receipt on-site. Our team of experts will leverage cutting-edge technology and industry best practices to carry out these inspections meticulously and provide critical feedback to ACEN.

ACEN is a Philippine-listed energy platform that has over 4,000 MW of attributable capacity from owned facilities in the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, India, and Australia.

Our team is committed to supporting ACEN in every step of the way to ensure a successful outcome for this landmark Project that will generate enough clean renewable energy to power more than 185,000 average Australian homes. As such, we are proud to contribute our expertise to this innovative project, representing a significant step forward in Australia's efforts to increase its renewable energy capacity.
