Applus+ in the UAE supports Iraq exports through verification of conformity services

Over a recent service period, Applus+ carried out multiple Testing & Inspections across several locations in the UAE, supporting consignments for a range of exporters operating in regulated sectors. The scope covered diverse product categories, including food items, packaged goods, chemicals, textiles, construction materials such as cement, and engineered products

Inspection teams conducted detailed on-site assessments at warehouses and storage facilities, verifying product labelling and packaging compliance in accordance with COSQC requirements. Activities also included visual inspection of goods and quantities, sampling of products for testing, verification of test results, and close coordination with exporters to ensure documentation accuracy and completeness prior to shipment.

The program involved managing mixed consignments and coordinating across multiple stakeholders under tight delivery timelines, requiring a structured and consistent service approach. Through this, Applus+ ensured that all consignments met the necessary compliance criteria ahead of export.

As a result, Certificates of Conformity (CoC) were issued in a timely manner, with shipments cleared without delays at destination ports in Iraq. These outcomes provided clients with assurance that regulatory requirements were met, reducing the risk of disruption in supply chains.
