Applus+ has been awarded the NDT contract for a major client’s development efforts in Kitimat, BC, Canada.
Applus+ will be performing Automated Ultrasonic Testing (AUT) weld inspections on the construction of a new Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) plant, including the fabrication of a new full-containment storage tank. Already a global leader in LNG tank inspection, Applus+’ use of state-of-the-art advanced technologies, including Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT), ensures accurate and efficient tank weld inspections. Partnership on this project is scheduled to continue through the fall of 2022 and further solidifies Applus+’ presence within Canada’s LNG industry.
