Applus+ Velosi in the UAE receives IRATA membership

    Applus+ Velosi in the UAE received the internationally recognized IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association) membership.
    IRATA is recognized as the world’s leading authority on industrial rope access with over 400 member companies around the world and Applus Velosi UAE, now joins the other members all over the world to provide Rope Access Services in line with the requirement addressed by IRATA in the International Code of Practice (ICOP).
    With more and more clients demanding IRATA membership for Rope Access Service Providers, we hope this membership/ approval open doors for new business opportunities and revenue in the UAE and other regions.

    Some of the main activities of IRATA include:
    • Regulation of the IRATA system followed by the members, independent audit and assessment.
    • Continually review and update policies and procedures related to standards, audit and assessment, to ensure they remain relevant and fit for purpose.
    • Promote and maintain a high standard of industrial rope access activities in terms of safety and work quality.
     
    Congratulations to all involved, especially Sajid, Dinesh, Grace, Sundeep, and George Sak for all their hard work. Applus+ Velosi in the UAE now joins Applus Velosi in Qatar to offer this accreditation to their clients in the region.
