05/07/2021

We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded the Henry Granjon Prize in the category of Design and Structural Integrity by the International Institute of Welding. Our team, led by Mahyar Asadi, is committed to research and continued development in the area of Welding Engineering.

We are recognized as industry leaders in the field of computational weld mechanics. We have expertise in computational engineering of welding and complex welded structures using both the Abaqus Welding Interface and the VrWeld platform. We have expertise in quick scripting and subroutine programming to electronically optimize welding procedures, including transient thermal effects, microstructure evolution, mechanical implication, and localized damage analysis, without using expensive human and physical resources.

Additionally, we develop effective welding programs to meet the requirements of numerous standards including CSA, ASME, AWS, and ISO, as well as marine classification societies such as Lloyds, DNV and ABS. From consulting on the right process, to practical hints & tips to ensure the perfect weld every time, we don’t just sell procedures we work with you to ensure your welding operations are working at their prime. Our welding procedures and technical work instructions ensure the quality of your welded products, reduce the need for expensive re-work and ensure that your welders are working productively.
