THE Applus+ SOLUTION
Once you’ve completed 5 days of training in the basics of working safely at height utilizing Rope Access, the final day will be for assessment. These assessments are carried out by an independent IRATA assessor. Don’t let the thought of an assessment put you off though!
 
All Rope Access Technicians are required to complete this, so we’ll do our very best to ease your worries and help you to work on any points you feel require special attention.
TARGET CUSTOMERS
This is an experienced rope access technician (minimum of 12 months experience) who has a minimum of 1000 hours logged and is able to perform more complex tasks under the supervision of a Level 3 Rope Access Safety Supervisor.
 
KEY CUSTOMER BENEFITS
He/she is:

• Able to demonstrate the skills and knowledge required of Level 1;
• capable of more complex rigging, including re-belays, deviations and tensioned lines;
• Able to undertake rescues from a variety of situations;
• Able to assemble and implement hauling systems.
