Applus+ successfully delivers third-party certification services for temporary structures at Lusail International Circuit

As part of this engagement, Applus+ completed comprehensive Structural Asset Integrity assessments for a wide range of temporary installations. Delivered by the construction department, the project reinforced the safe and reliable operation of one of Qatar’s most prominent motorsport venues.

The scope of work included certification of 29 temporary structures, encompassing some of the most complex and high-profile installations such as the North Grandstand, multiple track turns, premier hospitality facilities, and concert stage infrastructure. Each structure required meticulous evaluation to guarantee stability, quality, and readiness for operational use.

To achieve this, Applus+ carried out detailed technical reviews, on-site inspections, and verification activities focused on structural integrity and installation standards. By integrating Third-Party Certification within a broader Structural Asset Integrity framework, the project delivered a robust and comprehensive assurance approach. Despite the fast-paced nature of event infrastructure, all certifications were completed within the agreed schedule through close coordination with on-site stakeholders.

This successful delivery not only reduced operational risk but also strengthened public confidence during high-profile events at Lusail International Circuit. It further demonstrated Applus+’ capability to provide integrated asset integrity and certification services in complex, high-visibility environments across Qatar.
