Applus+ in Qatar partners with United Planys on underwater robotic Iinspections

The partnership was formalized at the Applus+ Qatar office by Mr. Kevin Drake, Country Manager of Applus+ Qatar, and Mr. Tanuj, Director of United Planys Technologies, reflecting the shared vision to drive innovation, enhance safety standards, and set new benchmarks in inspection excellence.

The collaboration will provide innovative inspection services for ports/terminals, sumps, basins, bridges, jetties, storage tanks, reservoirs, and pipelines. Capabilities include specialized Non-Destructive Testing methods such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Pulse Eddy Current (PEC), Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity (UPV) for concrete, SONAR surveys. Inspection data will be delivered through an online analytical dashboard, giving clients real-time insights for better decision-making. AI data-based analysis can be used for future inspections.
