Applus+ is one of the market leaders in Nigeria, currently serving major oil and gas companies in the country.

Francis Amadhe, Country Manager of Applus+ in Nigeria and Business Development Manager, Ruan Lloyd were invited to a meeting with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) to present their solutions for downstream operations. The presentation focused on a range of services that can be offered to all the NNPC storage facility tanks across Nigeria. This sparked a lot of interest from the executives of the NNPC.

The Applus+ team was then invited to Abuja for a further meeting with the NNPC’s Upstream Operations Chief Operating Officer, followed by a meeting in Benin to present Applus+ solutions to the executives from the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company, the operating arm of the NNPC.

Francis Amadhe states, “This has been a great opportunity for Applus+ in Nigeria to grow our presence in the country. Building a good relationship with the NNPC now, ensures more opportunities in the future. Applus+ is a global company with a presence in over 70 countries around the world. This is something that we are very proud of, and we hope to improve our standing in the Nigerian market to ensure that our customers are aware of all the solutions that we can offer them. The NPDC integrity check is targeted at approx. 3000 kilometers of pipelines scattered over the Niger Delta.”
