APEM, the Environmental Services Division (ESD) of Applus+, has secured appointments to two significant Western Australian infrastructure panels, strengthening its position to support the planning and delivery of critical infrastructure across the state.

The appointments to the Westport Environmental Services Panel and Water Corporation's Environmental Consultancy Services Panel further expand the longstanding Applus+ presence in Western Australia, and our ability to combine local expertise with specialist capabilities from across its Australian and international network.

Supporting Western Australia's Future Port Infrastructure

APEM has been appointed to the Westport Environmental Services Panel, positioning the business to support the development of Western Australia's future container port in Kwinana.

Westport represents a significant investment in the state's long-term economic growth, freight capacity and infrastructure resilience.

Through its appointment, APEM can draw on specialist capabilities from across its network, including:

Together, these capabilities provide access to industry leading specialist technical knowledge to inform planning, environmental considerations and decision-making across complex infrastructure projects.

    Supporting Essential Water Infrastructure

APEM has also been appointed to Water Corporation's Environmental Consultancy Services Panel across several specialist disciplines, including heritage services.

The appointment draws on local Western Australian expertise, complemented by the broader environmental and heritage capabilities available across APEM's Australian network, including Biosis and Attexo.

As Western Australia's principal water utility, Water Corporation is responsible for delivering and maintaining essential drinking water, wastewater, drainage and irrigation infrastructure across the state.

With infrastructure projects frequently intersecting with environmentally and culturally sensitive areas, access to specialist environmental and heritage expertise is critical to supporting informed planning, regulatory compliance and responsible project delivery.

Strengthening Environmental Capabilities in Western Australia

Together, these appointments represent an important milestone in the continued growth of the Applus+ ESD in Western Australia and create opportunities to contribute to some of the state's most significant infrastructure programs.

By bringing together the complementary capabilities of Applus+ Environmental Services (ESD) and Energy & Industry (E&I), our customers can access broader, integrated support across the infrastructure lifecycle: from early planning, environmental approvals and stakeholder engagement through to engineering, inspection, assurance and operational delivery. This breadth of expertise helps customers to simplify delivery, manage risk and achieve safer, more sustainable outcomes.
