Applus+ in Indonesia successfully delivered Land Rig Simulation Integrated Test (SIT) and Endurance Test

    Our team at Applus+ in Indonesia delivered Rig SIT and Endurance Test service were done on a Land Rig for oil operator in Sumatera Onshore by deploying 2 (two) pax Senior Rig Inspector personnel. The tests were done within almost 15 (fifteen) days under Client’s CV19 Protocols.

    Rig SIT or known as an “Integrated Acceptance Test” (IAT) serves to simulate realistic drilling operations and demonstrate the crew’s competency in operating drilling and marine equipment. Endurance Test performed to ensure the main equipment of the rig is ready for drilling operation.  

    Applus+ Inspectors conduct a Full Condition Survey prior to the tests to audit and verify all finding from previous Rig Inspection has been in Close status by the rig operator. 

    The tests done on Week #1 in June 2021 with no injury and incident. The report generated from the tests submitted to Client within less than 1 (one) week and the report also will be used as reference for the next drilling campaign. 

    For this tests campaign, the challenge of Rig Inspection being performed with other on-site job in Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS) has been successfully overcome by the assist of Client’s Drilling Operation Team and related parties to ensure all operations were done without any injury nor loss time.
