Applus+ in Ghana Took Part in a Graduate Training Program Aimed at Developing Local Talent

    Applus+ in Ghana successfully participated in a graduate mentorship program sponsored by Tullow Oil.

    The program was aimed at developing local capabilities through the training and development of a suitable candidate over a period of six months. The candidate was trained in Inspection Coordination, and this will ensure that local inspections in Ghana meet international standards.

    The curriculum for the training program was developed by the team at Applus+ in Ghana and included a combination of theory and on-the-job training. The candidate, Ebo Kizzie-Hayford was trained in Human Resources best practices; Integrated Management Systems (IMS) and Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) policies and procedures as well as the Applus+ Asset Management Inspection Services (AMIS) software which is used to perform vendor surveillance inspections around the globe.

    Upon completion of the program, the candidate was appointed as Inspection Coordinator at Applus+ in Ghana.

    Ebo Kizzie-Hayford stated, “I have a learnt a lot from the program and I am ready to put my training into action as I carry out my new role at Applus+ in Ghana.
