Applus+ in Papua New Guinea has completed the surveillance audit for ISO 17025 accreditation (General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories) by the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) in Australia.

In 2019, Applus+ in Papua New Guinea became the first NDT services company registered and based in Papua New Guinea (PNG) to hold ISO 17025 accreditation (General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories) by the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) in Australia. Since 2016, we added a range of asset inspection and non-destructive testing (NDT) services that has been developed for the oil & gas, mining, petro-chemical, energy and manufacturing sectors.

James Fraser-Byass, General Manager of Applus+ in Papua New Guinea stated, "Despite the challenges presented by Covid-19, the PNG team continue to deliver a full range of high-quality services. We are using this opportunity to invest into the capabilities of the business, and I am looking forward to the growth of services in our Inspection & Testing and HR Services fields in the remainder of 2021 and into the future."
