Applus+ in Indonesia, recognised for its contribution in the achievement of 100,000 safe Man-hours at the Tyra Redevelopment Project

    Last August, Applus+ in Indonesia received a Certificate of Appreciation in relation to its contribution to achieving 100,000 Man-hours without lost-time injury at the Tyra Redevelopment Project.

    Last August, Applus+ received a Certificate of Appreciation in relation to its contribution to achieving 100,000 Man-hours without lost-time injury at the Tyra Redevelopment Project. The Management of Applus+ in Indonesia would like to thank all the employees working at Tyra Redevelopment Project for their hard work and dedication in maintaining the health and safety on site.

    Joseph Peries, Applus+ Country Manager in Indonesia declares: “This achievement is all the more remarkable considering the various challenges faced over the past few months, I would like to take this opportunity to commend all Applus Employees on-site for this great achievement and encourage them all to stay vigilant and always look out for each other.

We have an integrated HSQE policy, which establishes the basis to develop an HSQE management system. It ensures our processes meet the governing standards as well as all the applicable legislative, regulatory & customer-based requirements whilst ensuring the safety and wellbeing of both our people and the environment.  

    All our employees share responsibility in:

    • Striving for the continual improvement of processes and activities            

    Applus+ Indonesia is providing NDT services in support of this development, including additional methods of inspection, such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiographic Testing (RT), and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) through the end of 2020.

    Ardoan Umboh, NDT Operations Manager in Batam, describes it this way: “This safety milestone is the result of teamwork between Applus+ employees and the client, who always put safety as the first priority in every task we did. In line with Applus+ Golden Safety Rules, we encourage our workers to communicate and talk about safety at all times. Safety is our culture”.
