In June, Diederick Naude, manager of the Technology Centre at Applus+ in Australia, attended and participated in the SPRINT Robotics Asia Pacific Kick-Off in Singapore.

SPRINT Robotics are a global, not for profit foundation who promote the development, availability, application and commercialisation of robotic techniques in technical inspections and maintenance projects.

The objective of the seminar was to share knowledge and developments in the domain of Inspection and Maintenance Robotics and to further connect members of the value chain. The program was comprised of presentations from technology developers through to end users, sharing perspectives and providing insight into the beneficial use of robotics in the inspection and maintenance sector.

The SPRINT Robotics Asia Pacific Chapter (SRAP) now joins the existing regional chapters of North America (SRNA) and Europe (SREU). With the strong support of the SPRINT Robotics Support Team, Diederick Naude will be coordinating SRAP efforts in Australia.

We are proud to be involved in the collaborative initiative which demonstrates forward thinking. As a business, we continually strive to pursue innovation and our involvement with SPRINT Robotics further reinforces this commitment.
