Applus+ Energy & Industry Executive Vice President, Visits MoMRA in KSA

    In March 2019 Ramón Fernandez Armas, EVP for Applus+ E & I division met with the Director of Project Development of MoMRA (Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs).
    The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the Quality Assurance System for cleanliness projects that Applus+ Arabia is performing for them throughout the Kingdom.
    Regional EVP Brian Dawes, Regional EVP Operations Guillermo Andres Carmona, and Applus+ Arabia Managing Director, Santiago Penabella were also present to review the progress of the project and listen to the expectations of the client in terms of project management performance and expertise to be implemented.
    Throughout 2017, Applus+ together with MoMRA worked on a pilot project using this Quality Assurance System, which took place in the city of Medina. Thanks to the success of this trial, our company was awarded a contract of 3M€ to implement its services in six additional cities, apart from Medina, which could also be extended to more cities in the future.
    The meeting created an occasion to discuss future opportunities and collaboration between Applus+ Arabia and MoMRA in terms of duplication of the quality assurance system to other activities.
