Applus+ Velosi certifies Qatar’s Public Works Authority

    Ashgal, one of our major clients in the country, received ISO and OHSAS certifications.

    Applus+ Velosi Qatar has successfully certified Ashghal Assets Affairs and Ashghal Customer Service Department in Qatar against ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007.
     
    Ashgal is one of our major clients in the region and a supporter of the Future Drainage & Stormwater Networks Conference 2015 that will take place on 7 - 8 December in Qatar. Applus+ Velosi is participating as a networking partner and exhibitor.
     
    Certificates were handed by Mr. Mohammad Nabil Nagib, Quality & Systems Certification Manager for Qatar, to Ashghal’s Assets Affairs Director Mr. Hamad Al Tamimi and various managers of the Drainage & Roads Department.
     
    Ashghal, created in 2004, is responsible for the planning, design, construction and asset management of all infrastructure projects and public buildings in the country.
     
    Being chosen as the certification company for authorities like Ashghal is a proof of why clients in the region trust in Applus+ Velosi’s expertise in inspection and certification, and will help us to consolidate and further expand our business in the Qatar market.
