These initiatives include the fight against cancer, elimination of child labor or care for needy children.
Education is one of the priority work lines for the company. Aware that is a cornerstone for the development of societies, Applus + promotes and supports projects to improve the quality of education, especially in disadvantaged areas.
Among other actions, since 2003, its division
Applus + Norcontrol Latam is working with the Ministry of Education of Panama, with the supervision of Educational Center Construction and Restoration Work Department, to promote access to education in indigenous regions.
Since 2013, Applus+ Norcontrol Latam has been collaborating with the Ministry of Education in Panama, to contribute to improving access to and the quality of education offered in indigenous regions. In 2014 the contracting of these types of projects increased by 150% - a fact that reasserts its commitment to sustainable development of the regions in which it operates.
