On 12th October, Fernando Gomes, Applus+ Angola Country Manager, attended the celebration held by the Spanish Embassy in Luanda in honour of the Spanish National Holiday.
Applus+ invited some of our most important clients in Angola
to the event, where they had the pleasure of hearing a speech from the Spanish Ambassador, His Excellency Manuel Hernández.
The Ambassador pointed to the number of Spanish companies present in Angola – some for over 30 years – and highlighted their potential contribution to the perceived “new spring” in the country, following recent political and economic reform. He made special mention of the Applus+ contribution, and our corporate video was also shown.
Applus+ has operated in Angola since 2005, providing technical staffing, inspection and NDT services for the oil and gas industry
. We are trusted partners for the main operators, Sonangol, Chevron, ENI and TOTAL. During the last 13 years, Applus+ has participated in the most significant oil and gas projects in the country: the Kaombo Ultra-Deep offshore project, the Mamufeira South field development, the Congo River Crossing pipeline, and the Soyo LNG plant.
