    Applus+ Velosi organized on November 20th, 2014 a successful seminar with the purpose to introduce improvements in electrical assets and show with case studies, different ways to design and set up best practices.

    Applus+ Velosi organized on November 20th, 2014 a successful seminar with the purpose to introduce improvements in electrical assets and show with case studies, different ways to design and set up best practices. The event was attended by more than 60 participants from different industries: government, education, power and local contractors from within Qatar.
     
    The event began with a brief introduction about the history of Applus+ Group and the functions performed in its six strategic divisions. The interesting content programme covered topics about the role of trials in asset management, testing and diagnostic techniques for transformers with specific cases of fault detection, verification and redesign of protection systems and the analysis with case studies about factory inspection to determine the cause of a transformer and a hydraulic generator failure.
     
    Mr. Niels Ole Soerensen, Applus Velosi’s Regional Business Development Manager was the responsible to introduce all guests to the Applus+ Group and it six divisions, followed by an introduction to a short history of Applus+ Group by Mr. Manuel Reina, GCC Regional Manager for Power & Infrastructure who also introduced the key speaker of the journey Mr. Jacobo Del Río, Electrical Testing Business Line Director for Applus+ Norcontrol Spain.
     
    The seminar concludes with an active discussion session with questions and answer for the Applus+ executive.
