Applus+ Materials testing laboratory in Shanghai achieves Airbus Qualification

    Applus+ is the first independent Airbus qualified laboratory in China for composite materials quality control testing
    The Applus+ materials testing laboratory in Shanghai has been officially qualified by Airbus to carry out quality control testing on composite materials. The qualification scope includes mechanical tests such as GIc, tensile, shear and flexion, and thermal tests (DMA AITM 1-0003) as well as CFRP sample preparation.
     
    Applus+ is the first independent laboratory in China to achieve Airbus qualification for composite materials quality control testing. The laboratory, which also holds Nadcap accreditation, will support Airbus suppliers located in China offering nearby services with high quality procedures, experienced staff and extensive Applus+ know-how in non-metallic materials.
     
    Applus+ has built up a network of laboratories in Europe, USA, and China, holding Nadcap accreditations in areas such as materials testing, non-metallic materials testing and non-destructive testing.
