Fernando is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Applus+ since 2011.
He started his career with Manufacturers Hanover Trust Co (today J P Morgan), where he held several positions within the corporate-banking division.
Before joining Applus+, Fernando spent 15 years working for SGS in a variety of senior-management positions. He started in SGS Spain in 1996 as Corporate Development Director and was promoted in 1999 to Managing Director. From 2002 to 2010 he served as Chief Operating Officer for Western Europe.
Fernando holds a degree in Law from the University of Madrid and an MBA from IESE Business School (Barcelona).
Joan is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Applus+ since 2007.
He started his career with Price Waterhouse Coopers in 1991 as an external auditor. In 1994, he joined Bimbo, a consumer goods company based in Spain and Portugal, where he held various senior positions: Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Financial Shared Services Director, Controller and Internal Audit Director. In 2006, he was appointed Vice President for Financial Planning and Controll at Sara Lee Bakery's Europe Division.
Joan holds a degree in Economics from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and he also followed IESE Business School's Executive Development Program, a Global Business Strategy Program at Wharton, University of Pennsylvania, and an Advance Management Program at ESADE Business School.
José is Senior Vice President for Human Resources at Applus+ since 2006.
He started his career in 1993 as Sales Manager at Norvidan Overseas. In 1994, José joined Meliá Hotels International S.A. and held various positions in Auditing and Consultancy, e-Business and HR. He was Organisation&Compensation Director, Change Management Director and, for his final four years there, HR Director.
José holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering and he also holds an MBA from ESADE Business School (Barcelona), and followed the Senior Management Programme (SMP) at IE Business Schoool (Madrid) and the Advanced HR Executive Program (AHREP) at the Ross School of Business (Michigan, USA).
Jorge is Senior Vice President for Corporate Development and Communications at Applus+ since 2007.
Jorge started his career with Construcciones Aeronáuticas in 1985, holding various engineering positions. In 1990, he was appointed Turboshaft Project Manager. He held various senior positions from 1991 onwards, notably as Programme Director, Commercial Director and Executive Director at Industria de Turbopropulsores.
Jorge holds a degree in Aeronautical Engineering and an MBA from IESE Business School (Barcelona).
Eva is General Counsel at Applus+ since 2013.
She started her career with Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira in 1998, working in both the Brussels and Barcelona offices. In 2000 she joined PUIG as Legal Counsel and she was appointed Commercial Legal Director in 2005.
Eva holds a degree in Law from the University of Valencia and a Master in European Union Law from the Carlos III University of Madrid.
Jordi is Executive Vice President for the Applus+ Laboratories division since 2007.
Jordi has always been involved in the management of technology and innovation companies. He started his career as Managing Director of Ingeniería de Composites, working on the application of composite materials to different industrial fields. Before joining Applus+, Jordi worked for SENER, Ingeniería y Sistemas, for 11 years. He was Director for Catalonia, and Director for Aeronautics and Vehicles.
Jordi holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and an MBA from IESE (Barcelona), and also a number of patents that are in development in different companies.
Carles is Executive Vice President for the Applus+ IDIADA division since 1987.
He started his career with IDIADA as Director in 1987, when it was a research institute at the University of Catalonia. He has remained at the helm of the company, seeing it through several changes in status and ownership.
Carles was awarded a PhD in Internal Combustion Engines Engineering in 1984 and he holds a degree in Business Administration in 1988. He is an active member of the Honorary Committee of FISITA, the International Federation of Automotive Engineering Societies.
Aitor is Executive Vice President for Applus+ Automotive division since 2009.
He started his career with Adecco in 1993. In 1997, he was appointed Financial Operations Director for Spain, and went on to hold various senior positions onwinlcuding Chief Financial Officer for Latin America, based in Buenos Aires, and Chief Operating Officer for Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico, based in New York. Prior to this current appointment, Aitor spend three years as Managing Director of Doctor Clic.
Aitor holds a degree in Law and Economics from the University of Deusto and an MBA from IE Business School (Madrid).
Ramón is Executive Vice President for the Energy & Industry División since 2016.
Prior to this appointment, in 2015, he was EVP for Energy and Industry Southern Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia & Pacific, joining from Applus+ Velosi, where he was the EVP of the Applus+ Velosi division and previously EVP of Applus+ Norcontrol Spain in 2011.
Ramón started his career with Applus+ Norcontrol in 1998, and he has held various management positions since this time. In 2002, he was appointed Environmental Department Director in Galicia, and following this, Director of the area of Environment in Soluziona and Regional HSQE Director.
Ramón holds a degree in Forestry Engineering and a Programme for Management Development from ESADE Business School (Barcelona).
Guillermo is responsible for the Energy & Industry organization in the region of Africa since 2015.
He started his career with Applus+ Norcontrol in 2001, and he has held various management positions since this time. In 2005, he was appointed Electrical Department Director in Madrid, and following this, Director of the area of Electricity Networks and Regional Deputy Director. Since 2011, he was Manager for Central Region of Applus+ Norcontrol Spain, where he was also Managing the Electrical Service Line.
Guillermo holds a in degree in Industrial Engineering.
Derek Burr is responsible for the Energy & Industry organization in the region of Southeast Asia since 2017.
He has been with Applus+ since 2008 where he started with K2 Specialist Services as Operations Manager tasked with developing the offshore drilling services business, he then became Services Director moving on to Managing Director.
Derek worked in the oil and gas industry for more than 30 years, starting as a fabrication Quality Control Inspector progressing to managing various businesses in UK, Brazil and Singapore. He has over 16 years experience working in Southeast Asia, managing engineering design, construction, inspection and maintenance projects both on and offshore.
Brian is responsible for the Energy & Industry organization in the region of Middle East since 2015.
In 1982 he started his career with ICI plc, where he held a number of management positions including General Manager (Polypropylene Business) and Managing Director (Thailand). Brian subsequently served as Managing Director of Quintiles Inc. (China), Vice President of Ikarus Petroleum (Kuwait) and Vice President of Lamprell plc (UAE).
Brian holds a degree in French & Spanish from the University of Sheffield and studied Advanced Management at INSEAD.
Phillip is responsible for the Energy & Industry organization in the region of North America since 2015.
He started his career with Cameron International in 1982 holding several positions, from Plant Manager to Operations Manager Canada. In 1999 he joined Crane Company as VP Commercial Valve Services. From 2001 to 2014 he worked in T.D. Williamson, Inc. holding several positions such as VP T.D.Williamson Services USA, Global VP Pipeline Integrity Products&Services, VP President US,Canada&Caribbean Basin.
Phillip has led international businesses, including assignments in Scotland and Canada, and developed his career in the oil and gas industry.
Phillip holds a BBA in Texas A&M University.
Pablo San Juan is responsible for the Energy & Industry organization in the region of Latin America since 2007.
He has been working at Norcontrol since 1988, holding a variety of technical positions. Prior to taking on his current role in 2007, he spent three years as Business Development Director.
Pablo San Juan holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering degree and he studied Marketing and Sales Management at ESIC Business and Marketing School, and he also obtained a General Management Programme (PDG) degree from IESE Business School (Barcelona) in 1997.
Sytze is responsible for the Energy & Industry organization in the region of Northern Europe since 2014.
He started his career at Mobil Oil in The Netherlands and between 1991 and 2001 held various senior Sales & Marketing positions at companies active in the Marine and Energy sector. From 2001 to 2010 he worked for Rolls-Royce in senior management positions, the most recent being Regional Director Europe & Africa and Vice President Services Europe & Africa. In 2010 he joined Stork Technical Services as Vice President Rotating Equipment. From 2010 to 2012 he was Managing Director Western Europe for Imtech Marine.
Sytze holds a BSc degree in Marine Engineering and a Bsc degree in Maritime Logistics Management from Rotterdam University and he also completed the Global Leadership 2020 Program of the Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth USA.
Cameron is responsible for the Energy & Industry organization in the region of Oceania since 2016.
During his career at Applus+, between 2008 and 2011, Cameron was Global Business Line Director with Applus+ RTD. Cameron, also, has held various management positions throughout his time with Applus+ with a primary focus on the development and provision of specialized inspection technologies to the oil and gas and power sectors. From 2012 to 2015, he was Managing Director for Applus+ RTD Asia Pacific.
Cameron started his technical career with the Royal Australian Air Force specializing in advanced aerospace inspection technologies before commencing his career with Applus+ in 1993.
Cameron holds a Master’s Degree in International Business.
Mª Teresa is Vice President for Internal Quality, Innovation and Health and Safety (HSQE) at Applus+ since 1996.
She had previously spent four years at Applus+ as Technology and Quality Director.
Mª Teresa started her career with Bandaparte (Madrid) in 1988, holding various positions. In 1996, she was appointed Control and Development Processes Manager for LGAI in Barcelona and went on to be Chemical and Environment Division Director and, subsequently, Technology Director at Applus+.
Mª Teresa holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and in 2007 she completed an Executive Development Programme at ESADE Business School.
